Fluoresce spectroscopy has been widely used in many fields especially in biochemistry and environment science due to its high sensitivity, excellent selectivity quick response, high spatial and temporal resolution.Nowdays, the researchers have synthesized a large number of different types of organic fluorescent dyes and studied their fluorescent properties thoroughly.Since the fluorescent properties of dyes are easily influenced by many factors, such as external environment(temperature),instrument conditions(background light, light scattering)or the sarmples itself(concentration),these reported datas lack uniformity. Therefore, the systematic study of the fluorescence properties of common fluorescent cores in different solvents is of great significance for the futfure application of fluorescent dyes.In this paper, based on the survey and collation of literatures about application of fluorescent dyes in recent years, the most widely used and most representative fluorescent dyes(coumarin,1,8-naphthalenediimide,bodipy,naphthalene series,TCF,NBD,benzopyran,Dapoxyl, fluorescein, cyanine, and resorfin)are chosed as the research targets, and the fluorescence spectra covered the range of 300nm-800nm.The main content of the paper is to use different electrical substituents on the above-mentioned fluorescent cores for structural modification, synthesis of a series of fluorescent compounds, and then measure fluorescence properties in different solvents(THF,EtOH,CH3CN,H2O),finally interprets the spectral data through the Gaussian calculation. The results of this study can provide important references for the design and evaluation of fluorescent probes or labeling biological macromolecules with fluorescent compounds in future.
