Hydride atomic fluorescence spectrometry is based on atomic absorption and atomic emission spectrometry,and has the advantages of both atomic emission spectrometry and atomic absorption spectrometry.In recent years,as a spectral analysis technology,this technique has high sensitivity and less matrix interference,and it has unique advantages in the determination of arsenic,mercury and other volatile elements,and has been widely used in trace analysis.AFS230E double channel atomic fluorescence photometer,which can measure four elements,such as arsenic,antimony,bismuth and mercury,it is usually used for arsenic,antimony and bismuth,mercury measurement,and has applicable operating procedures.At presently,there is no specific operation procedure in the laboratory for the simultaneously determination of arsenic and mercury.The main problem is that the determination of arsenic requires thiourea reduction in the sample,but the determination of mercury does not need thiourea reduction.In this paper,the amount of thiourea added does not affect the determination of mercury by check test,and provide feasible basis for the simultaneously determination of arsenic and mercury.Through the experiment,optimize the conditions of simultaneously determination of arsenic and mercury such as negative pressure,lamp current,carrier gas and shielding gas flow etc.Comprehensive consideration such as sensitivity,linear range and other factors,determine the optimal conditions and the concentration of potassium borohydride and the acidity range for the simultaneously determination of arsenic and mercury.The accuracy and precision of the method were tested by using national standard material,and the relative standard deviation of arsenic results was3.0%-5.1%,and the relative standard deviation of mercury results was3.0%-5.1%.The method of simultaneously determination of arsenic and mercury hasbeen used for the determination of more than ten thousand production samples,and the qualified rate of the 628 soil samples of the abnormal spot check and sample's cipher are all above 90%,conforms to the geological industry quality of management standard.This method is simple and rapid,and it saves manpower and resources,and it is suitable for analysis and testing of large quantities of samples.The method has been applied to the analysis and test of arsenic and mercury in the geological survey project in Muxian gully,Kai Yuan City,Liaoning province,and provide accurate and reliable experimental data for the exploration of geochemical distribution of arsenic and mercury.
