At present,China's atmospheric pollution is still serious,Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)is a major kind of air pollutants, therefore it's essential to control the emission of it.Non-thermal plasma consists of highly active particles, such as electrons, ions, free radicals and photons has a wide range of applications in the air pollution control, such as VOCs,NOx,SO2 and so on.However, the application of non-thermal plasma(NTP)for VOCs abatement has the following weaknesses:poor energy efficiency, low mineralization degree and production of hazardous byproducts. On the problems of plasma generation technology and VOCs treatment,plasma-photocatalytic synergetic technique is studied in this work.Further on,the influence factors of dielectric barrier discharge combined with photocatalytic are studied and we also design a set of large amounts of volatile organic gas treatment device and bipolar pulse power supply. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)The effects of power supply and humidity on the removal of VOCs in DBD reactor are investigated. The removal efficiency of toluene increases with increasing energy density;pulse power efficiency is better than AC power; As the humidity increases, the removal rate of toluene is significantly reduced at the same energy density.(2)The catalysts TiO2,Ag-TiO2?Mn-TiO2 and Ce-TiO2 are prepared and combined with DBD to remove toluene in the air.The catalysts have a higher performance of toluene removal efficiency, plasma catalysis synergy effect.(3)The photocatalysts with different doping ratios were studied. The effect of doping rare earth metal Ce is better than Ag and Mn,the optimum molar ratio of Ag is about 1%and the suitable doping ratio of Ce is about 1.5%.(4)We design a device for gas treatment and a bipolar pulse power supply.Transformer variable ratio is 77 and energy conversion efficiency is 90%.The reactor operates at a voltage of 30 kV with a single pulse energy of 5 J.
