As a technology for analysis,mid-infrared spectroscopy is characterized by integrity,macroscopic view and high speed.In this paper,combining the latest chemometric algorithms,it is applied to analyze Salvia miltiorrhiza and Rhynchophylla qualitatively,build content model and size up the producing areas and biotopes of Pinellia ternata and lignum millettiae qualitatively.The study mainly includes:1.The establishment of spectral quality standard of Salvia miltiorrhiza and quantitative mathematical model of its extractCharacteristic peak including its shape,position and intensity data can be defined by comparing infrared spectra of Salvia miltiorrhiza from different producing areas and biotopes;a quality criterion of Salvia miltiorrhiza three-level IR spectrum is laid down.Additionally,partial least square method applied,mid-infrared spectroscopy mathematical model and analytical method are accomplished,which can calibrate four main components of Salvia miltiorrhiza extract simultaneously,namely tanshinol,protocatechualdehyde,salvianolic acid A and rosmarinic acid,with liquid chromatography as reference method combining latest chemometric algorithms.Quantitative model is used to predict the content of four targets simultaneously.2.The establishment of spectral quality standard and quantitative mathematical model of RhynchophyllaCharacteristic peak including its shape,position and intensity data,can be defined by comparing infrared spectra of Rhynchophylla from different producing areas and biotopes;a quality criterion of three-level IR spectrum is worked out.Besides,partial least square method applied,mid-infrared spectroscopy mathematical model and analytical method are accomplished,which can determine two main components of Rhynchophylla simultaneously namely rhynchophylline and isorhynchophylline,with liquid Chromatography as reference methods combining latest chemometric algorithms.Quantitative model is used to predict the content of two targets simultaneously.3.Use infrared spectroscopy to discriminate Pinellia ternata from its counterfeitsConsidering the existence situation of using some counterfeits to replace Pinellia ternata on the market,an integral structural analysis is conducted on infrared spectrum of samples and counterfeits collected throughout the nation.And using differences of characteristic peak to discriminate the sham from the genuine is put forward and this method is further verified by SIMICA classification,second derivative and cluster analysis of comparing KNN,Bayes,LDF and SVM.The result is that Pinellia ternata and its counterfeit can be distinguished effectively.4.Use infrared spectroscopy to discriminate Lignummillettiae from Sargentodoxa cuneataIn view of the existence situation of using Sargentodoxa cuneata to replace lignum millettiae on the market,an integral structural analysis is conducted on infrared spectra of lignum millettiae and sargentodoxa cuneata collected from Guangxi province.And using characteristic peak to discriminate the sham from the genuine is presented and this method is further verified by SIMICA classification,second derivative and cluster analysis of comparing KNN,Bayes,LDF and SVM.The result is that Lignum millettiae and sargentodoxa cuneata can be distinguished effectively.To sum up,with the advantages of high speed,integrity and macroscopic view,infrared spectroscopy can be employed in discrimination and quality appraisal of natural complex mixture system and many other aspects.
