To compare with the traditional electrolytic cell,the new cathode structure aluminum electrolysis cell can inhibit the fluctuation of aluminum level,effectively reduce the polar distance and cell voltage,which can save a large amount of electric energy.New cathode structure aluminum electrolysis cell is an integration technology involving cathode structure,process parameters and operating technology.The differences between new cathode structure electrolytic cell and traditional electrolytic cell and the control of the electrolytic cell need to be analyzed.With the continuous improvement of electrolytic cell and optimization of control,the energy saving effect of new cathode structure electrolytic cell is improved.This paper analyzed the differences of structure and production technology between new cathode structure electrolytic cell and the traditional electrolytic cell,and the characteristic of the new cathode structure of electrolytic cell was grasped to provide a guarantee for its application.By analyzing the main factors of the cell,according to the actual situation on interactions and constraints between various factors and complicated change of cell conditions,dimensional analysis was presented to deal with the complicated factors,grasp the main factors and find relevant law.In This paper,10 new cathode structure electrolytic cells and 10 ordinary electrolytic cells were selected to test.Based on the measuring results,the energy saving effect of new cathode electrolytic cell was analyzed.The results showed that the new cathode structure electrolyze ran smoothly,was more controllable,and achieved better production index.In addition,by analyzing the actual operating results of the test cell during the six months,compared with the traditional electrolytic cell,the main control reference was reasonable and stable and parameter control and key indicators were significantly improved.The average cell voltage of the new cathode structure electrolytic cell reduced 257mV,the current efficiency increased 0.61%,and D.C power consumption decreased 919kWh than the original one.The research results will have valuable reference significance on optimizing and improving the aluminum electrolysis production,new technology promotion and application of aluminum electrolysis.
