This study is on the basis of artistic expression form,artistic emotion expression and self emotion expression of water painting,investigates and surveys on the development process and status of domestic and foreign water painting,as well as the original unity of photography,sculpture,tie-dyed fashion,sand painting and other related art expressions.The natural intangible substance art form and the uncertainty of post modern art as starting point,the paper interprets the possibilities and value orientations of water painting.The research applies empirical study method,take the examples of the application of water painting on clothing,analyze the realizing route and value connotation of water painting art expression.The research shows that the water painting expression form is a process which artistic mastery after skill acquistion and then artistic mastery towards acquisition,as well as'practice-theory-practice'.In the creating process of water painting,the intangible substance-water as carrier generates an effect which seems to be irregular but actually is a regular beauty,combines with the theory evidence of art uncertainty and philosophical aesthetics,through a series uncertain experiments,such as:the experiments on the fabric,color brightness,color purity,color combinations and expression techniques then explore and analyze the experiments with emotional expression.The writer tries to seek for the way of nature,the way of human and also the balance way of nature and human,so that to direct the higher art expression form.Utilize the art expression and theory of summarized art expression regularity guidance level mastery,finally put it into practice on the aspect of clothing design,so as to achieve the practical value which conform to the artistic expression of mass appreciation of the beauty.
