The Chair Design Research Based On "Natural Inaction" Of Taoism

With the improvement of the quality of life,people began to pay more attention to the pursuit of spiritual and cultural life,especially in the traditional Chinese philosophy of the increasingly prominent.People are expected from the around of the items feeling the "natural" mood and getting physical and mental relaxation.Chair is not only indispensable items to accompany people in working and living,but also can represent in furniture design.So how to design the "natural inaction" of the beautiful chair,is worthy of our further study.Taoism "natural inaction" thought in the aesthetics and artistic creation emphasizes "division of law" and "harmony between man and nature",that is,"people","material","nature" between the three harmony,"Natural simplicity,natural harmony,homeopathy and",and modern furniture design to promote the appearance of simple and natural,functional and harmonious design concept coincide,the idea of ??modern "Chinese" chair design exterior shape.The actual function and the positioning of the intrinsic experience has a very important significance.This paper analyzes the aesthetic idea in the thought of "natural inaction",analyzes the modern chair design with the excellent method of modern design and traditional creation.This paper puts forward the modern chair design method under the influence of the "natural inaction" aesthetic idea,and complements and consummates the theory of chair design under the influence of the existing traditional elements.The method can be directly applied to the modern "Chinese" chair design,to provide new methods and basis,with strong guidance and practicality.Based on the aesthetic point of view of "natural inaction" in Taoist philosophy,this paper analyzes the design method and excellent case of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign chairs,and finds out the method of chair design,summed up the "natural inaction" aesthetic thought and chair design and combine with the modern product design method to integrate the aesthetic concept in this traditional philosophy into the modern chair design,and study and explore the "natural inaction" chair design method.Finally,the completion of three "natural inaction" of the modern chair design examples,combined with user evaluation research to verify the feasibility of the above theory.
