The extraction of active ingredient in plant is a hot issue.However,relevant extraction theory need to be further studied.Based on previous studies of glycyrrhizin,a possible mechanism on extraction was proposed: adsorption-desorption equilibrium mechanism.To test this hypothesis,the research that sugar was leached from cane and the research that sucrose was adsorbed on cellulose was carried out respectively.Extraction and adsorption were studied from three aspects as the particle size,temperature,solid-liquid ratio.Finally,adsorption model was used to fit the results of adsorption and extraction.The influence of three factors including solid-liquid ratio,adsorption temperature,cellulose granule diameter on the balance concentration of sucrose is studied in sugar cane-water extraction system and cellulose-sucrose adsorption system.Meanwhile,comparing extraction and adsorption equilibrium concentrations of sucrose under ultrasonic conditions and mechanical stirring: sucrose balance concentration increases with the increase of the ratio of solid and liquid,with the decrease of the particle size,and with the decreases of temperature,the balance concentration of the sucrose is higher under ultrasonic stirring than under concentration in sugar cane-water extraction system.Concentrations of sucrose decreases with the increase of the solid-liquid ratio,with the decrease of the particle size,and with the decreases of the temperature,the equilibrium concentration of sucrose under ultrasonic is higher than the concentration under mechanical stirring in cellulose-sucrose adsorption system.In this paper the results of adsorption and extraction was fitted by the classical Langmuir adsorption equation and Freundlich empirical formula respectively.Fitting results showed that whether adsorption or extraction,fitting linear relationship by Langmuir adsorption equation is not significant;fitting linear relationship of the adsorption and extraction by Freundlich empirical formula is very significant.Freundlich empirical formula can better fit the experimental data of adsorption and extraction,so they are always consistent.Pseudo-first-order model and pseudo-second-order model were used to fit the results of the adsorption and extraction processes respectively.Regardless of extraction and adsorption process,the pseudo-second-order model can well describe them,indicatingextraction and sorption process wre in line with pseudo-second-order model.
