Research Of Double-layer Polyester Fabrics Of Flame-retardant Automotive Seat Cover

With the development of automobile industry,automotive textiles had a great market.Flammability of ordinary textiles increased the car's security risks,so it was important to produce flame retardant automotive interior fabrics to reduce vehicle fires.To design flame-retardant seat cover fabric as a starting point,according to the decoration requirements of seat cover fabrics,the double-layer jacquard products were designed;according to functional requirements,water and oil repellent finishing of flame-retardant products were carried out.The design of products had great decorative and functional,and the physical and mechanical properties and functionality of products could reach the standard requirements.In this paper,300D/96 f flame-retardant polyester and the same specifications of ordinary polyester filament yarn were used as raw materials.With the novel personality and warm and comfortable design concept,the plain,twill,honeycomb and perforation were combined with jacquard to weave 8 kinds of fabrics with good decorative properties,including 4 kinds of double-layer fabrics and 4 kinds of double-weft fabrics.Through testing properties of fabrics,such as tensile,tearing,breathable,wear-resisting,anti-wrinkle,rigid-flex and flame-retardant,etc,the result showed that 1# fabric was the optimum fabric to analyse by gray near-optimal evaluation.The surface layer and inner layer ratio of 1#fabric was 1: 1,and all the warp used flame-retardant polyester,weft using flame-retardant polyester and ordinary polyester for 1: 1.In order to make the flame-retardant fabric with water and oil repellent,the paper had done a functional finishing.The best finishing process was determined as follows: the concentration of fluorine-containing waterproof finishing agent sk630 was 20%,the rolling residual rate was 80%,the baking time was 4min,the baking temperature was 170 ?.The finished fabric had good water and oil repellency,and the durability was great.The 8 kinds of flame-retardant fabrics designed in this study all had good decoration.The best flame-retardant fabric used the best water-and oil-repellent finishing technology,to become a beautiful multi-functional seat cover fabric.
