The Crude oil Distillation Unit(CDU)is the key device of the refinery plants which has a significant effect on the downstream units and the economic benefits of the entire enterprise.This paper has carried on the following research on the optimization of the 8 million-ton CDU of a large company based on rapid assay.In the chapter 1,the background,significance,development of the research and the process of CDU are introduced.In the light of the traditional method which may lead to false detection results in CDU,a method of steady-state detection based on polynomial filtering and adaptive determination of the sliding window is proposed in the second chapter,the efficiency of which is verified by simulation studies.Firstly,because the accuracy of the near infrared analyzer may make certain error on the rapid assay,a method of crude oil data correction is studied in the chapter 3 which is based on similarity comparison among the rapid assay,the component tracking and the crude oil property calculation.Secondly,the process simulation software Petro-SIM is used to correct the true boiling point distillation curve of the crude oil which has a gap with the actual condition.Finally,a method of completing missed values based on the similar conditions is studied for the problem of the lack of data because of the low assay frequency.The judgment parameters is used to determine the similarity of the condition,combined with the similarity of crude oil to compute the comprehensive similarity,which is then verified by simulation studies.In the fourth chapter,because partial product properties of vacuum tower can't be measured directly,a method for building soft measurement model based on the multiple linear regression is studied,which is using sensitivity analysis and the principal component analysis to determine the input variables of the model.The experimental verification of the method is carried out.In view of the large overlap between the second side and the third side of atmospheric distillation unit,the chapter 5 studies the operation optimization based on Petro-SIM using the SQP optimization algorithm,strictly limiting the quality of side-line products and the operation parameters within the permitted range,selecting the yield of the second side of atmospheric distillation unit as the optimization target and the stripping steam of the third side and the top extraction of atmospheric distillation unit,the atmospheric furnace outlet temperature as the decision variables.The simulation results show that the current atmospheric distillation unit still has a large lifting space in the yield,and the accuracy and reliability of the optimization scheme are verified by field test.This paper has valuable guidance and reference for the engineering application of CDU,which is helpful to broaden the application of on-line optimization system in CDU in Chinese refineries.
