As an important processing method,NC milling is widely used in the fields of aerospace,national defense and so on.In recent years,with the in-depth study of intelligent control technology,milling is also developed from the instruction to the intelligent direction.Intelligent machine tools no longer need to passively complete the processing instructions,but it can adjust the processing parameters autonomously according to different processing conditions,so that the machine tool is always maintained in a good processing condition.Therefore,aiming at the five axis side milling process,a method of adjusting and optimizing machining parameters is designed in this paper to improve the efficiency of machine tools and the surface quality of parts.The main work of this article is as follows:By analyzing some problems in the standard particle swarm optimization(PSO),an improved algorithm is designed.The milling force model of five axis side milling is established by using the improved BP neural network optimized by the improved algorithm.Then,according to the different optimization objectives and constraints,the optimal expression of the off-line processing parameters is determined.The improved particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is used to solve the problem and the final optimization results are obtained.According to the characteristics of numerical control program,an optimization method of numerical control program is designed to ensure the accuracy of the program which input into the machine tool.Then,according to the milling force model established,a self-adaptive fuzzy controller based on milling force is designed,which realizes intelligent adjustment of feed speed in machining process.Finally,the optimization software for milling is developed by using the VC++6.0 and SQL Sever platform.The software can implement the query of processing information,the check of numerical control program and the optimization of milling parameters,etc.It is proved by experiments that the on-line intelligent adjustment method of machining parameters designed in this paper can improve machining efficiency and surface quality of parts,which has high theoretical and practical significance.
