| Selective flocculation-desliming is a efficient process for separation of fine partical mineral.Selective flocculation-desliming is able to remove fine gangue and flocculates valuable mineral at the same time.The ore samples were taken from Goukouquan in Xinjiang province,and the characteristics of Goukouquan iron ore were low iron grade and fine cyrstalized size.Selective flocculation-desliming was the core of mineral processing experiment,and the mechanism research included mineral detection and theoretical analysis.The process mineralogical research of ore samples showed that the main metal mineral in Goukouquan iron ore are magnetite and hematite,the main gangue is quartz.Iron grade of ore samples is 29.18%,the iron share of magnetite and hematite respectively are 52.26%and 44.83%,the dissemination size of iron mineral is-0.020+0.005mm.By comparing the experimental data of fine-grinding-magnetic separation and coarse-grinding-magnetic separation,the fine grinding-magnetic separation was selected for recovery of magnetite.The grind fineness of experiment is-0.020mm 96%,the magnetic field intensity of experiment is 116kA/m.The iron grade and recovery rate of magnetic concentrate are 58.24%and 49.48%,the iron grade and recovery rate of magnetic tailing are 19.60%and 50.52%.The material of selective flocculation-desliming experiment is tailing of magnetite,NaOH was used as pH modifier,sodium silicate as dispersant,starch and sodium humate as flocculant.By comparing the experimental data of selective flocculation-desliming and desliming,the selective flocculation-desliming which used starch as flocculant was selected for separation.The dispersion speed and flocculation speed of agitator are 1200r/min and 600r/min,the pH of ore pulp is 9,the dosage of sodium humate is 2000g/t,the dosage of starch is 200g/t.The iron grade and recovery rate of flocculated concentrate are 20.16%and 39.85%,the iron grade and recovery rate of flocculated tailing are 17.76%and 10.67%.The influences of selective flocculation-desliming on flotation was studied by comparing the flotation data of flocculated concentrate and magnetic tailing.The results indicates that the selective flocculation-desliming could improve separation result of flotation.The pH of ore pulp is 12,the starch as depressant is 400g/t,the CaCl2 as activator is 2000g/t,the sodium oleate as collector is 1500g/t.The iron grade and recovery rate of flotaion concentrate are 25.95%and 9.17%,the iron grade and recovery rate of flotation tailing are 18.90%and 30.68%.The experimental results of fine-grinding-magnetic separation,selective flocculation-desliming and flotation are as follow:the iron grade and recovery rate of comprehensive concentrate are 48.76%and 58.65%,the iron grade and recovery rate of comprehensive tailing are 18.59%and 41.35%.The analysis of magnetic tailing indicated that the main metal mineral in magnetic tailing was hematite,the main gangue was quartz.The dispersal and flocculate mechanism of hematite and quartz in the ore pulp was analyzed.The figures of SEM and EDS showed the microcosmic effect of ore particles in the selective flocculation-desliming experiment.The research results of this paper have certain guiding significance to the recovery of iron minerals from Goukouquan iron ore and study of selective flocculation-desliming. |
