As a new kind of functional composite, the Embedded and Co-cured Composite Damping Structure(ECCDS)has a wide application prospect in aerospace, high speed train, space vehicle and so on.Up to now, there is almost no reports on the bending fatigue propieties of ECCDS,which has limited its further extensive application. The bending fatigue behavior of ECCDS was studied by means of combining test and numerical simulation method in this paper based on the previous research. The main work and innovation in this paper are as follows:1.The 120 # gasoline was presented as a dissolvant and the damping solution was made by dissolving viscoelastic damping material in this dissolvant, the ECCDS test specimens were obtained by double-sided brushing method and co-cured process.2.The three-point bending fatigue test fixture for this experiment was improved. The specimen limit device was increased in order to protect the specimen from offsetting or falling off during the test,so the test could be carried out for a long period of time.3.The test platform of three-point bending fatigue test for ECCDS and non-damping composites were built up,the S-N curve of non-damping composites was fitted and the fatigue properties of ECCDS and non-damping composites were compared.4.Numerical simulation model of three-point bending fatigue performance of ECCDS was established and verified by experiment, and the relationship between fatigue life of ECCDS and different parameters was obtained, which will provide a reference for the fatigue design of ECCDS.
