The embedded co-cured composite damping structure because of its light-weight, large damping and high stiffness has been widely used in high technical fields such as the aerospace, aeronautical industries and space vehicle etc. Based on the predecessors’ research about the embedded co-cured composite damping structure, the paper proposed the method of making the perforated damping structure and the grid damping structure. By the static performance experiments, the material properties of the tensile and bending were explored in detail. By the dynamic experiment and finite element numerical simulation method, the relationship of dynamic performance with the geometric structure parameters was studied deeply. The paper laid a solid foundation in the structural dynamic performance design and further applied research of the embedded co-cured damping composite material. The main innovations are listed in the following.(1) The new double-sided brush process was presented to manufacture the embedded co-cured continuous damping composite structure, and the transition process between layers was developed to manufacture the embedded co-cured perforated damping and grid damping composite structures.(2) Used the double-sided brush coating process to made the testing components of the embedded co-cured continuous damping composite structure, the in-plane tensile and interlaminar tensile properties were studied firstly.(3) Three point bending experiment were presented to investigate the bending stiffness of the embedded co-cured damping composite structure, the relationship of the bending performance with the geometric structure parameters was obtained.(4) By the experiment and finite element numerical simulation methods, the dynamic performance of the embedded co-cured composite perforated damping and grid damping structures was studied deeply, and relationship of the modal damping and frequency with geometric parameters of these structures was obtained in detail. The conclusion laid a solid foundation for the dynamic performance design and wide application of the complex damping structure.
