Embedded co-cured composite damping structure(ECCDS)is a new type of composite structure with high specific strength,aging resistance and large damping,and it has been widely used in aerospace,automotive sports equipmentg and so on.A viscoelastic damping material able to co-curing with carbon fiber/bismaleimide resin prepreg under high temperature was designed by theoretical analysis,orthogonal experimental design,mechanical properties test and dynamic mechanical analysis.The viscoelastic damping material was dissolved in tetramethylene(THF)solution and the viscoelastic damping layer was prepared by single-sided immersion method,the preforms were obtained according to stacking sequence and the high-temperature-resistance ECCDS were manufactured by co-curing process in autoclave.The dynamic and static properties of high-temperature-resistant ECCDS specimens under different treatment conditions were studied by free vibration attenuation test,modal test and interlaminar shear test.The work and innovation of this paper are as follows:(1)A viscoelastic damping material with good high temperature performance and aging resistance was designed,which could co-curing with bismaleimide resin at 260?,and the interpenetrating polymer networks(IPN)had been formed in the interface of carbon fiber and bismaleimide resin prepreg.(2)The viscoelastic damping solution was prepared by using tetrahydrofuran(THF)as solvent,and then the viscoelastic damping layer was manufactured by single-side immersion method presented by this paper..(3)The manufacture process of high-temperature-resistant embedded co-cured composite damping structure was explored.Study began with the research of the ingredient of viscoelastic damping materials,at end,high-temperature-resistant ECCDS was manufactured in the autoclave according to the co-cured process curve.(4)Dynamic performance test and interlaminar mechanical properties test platforms of high-temperature-resistant embedded co-cured composite damping structure were built up,and the effects of viscoelastic damping layer thickness and treatment conditions on the damping properties and interlaminating mechanical properties of high-temperature-resistant ECCDS were obtained by free vibration decay test,modal test and interlaminar shear test.
