With the development of nuclear industry,there is a growing demand for nuclear fuel.At the same time,uranium mining and smelting have been increasing.As a result,a large amount of uranium tailings residue have been accumulated in the uranium tailings reservoir.Uranium tailings impoundment includes depleted ores that has been extracted uranium and various pollutants being introduced during mining and smelting process,containing all uranium decay bodies,almost 99% of 230 Th and 226 Ra are concentrated in the tailings.Due to the direct exposure of the uranium tailings to the atmosphere,and the action of oxidation,weathering,rain and surface runoff,the radionuclides easy access to air,soil and groundwater and migrate away from uranium tailings.There is a serious threat to the surrounding environment and human beings.However,the monitoring of uranium tailings is still weak and can not be obtained in real time.Therefore,The study for uranium tailings pollution monitoring technology is essential.Taking the uranium tailings impoundment as the research object,this paper uses theoretical research and numerical simulation to study wireless sensor network(WSN)monitoring technology for uranium tailings.This paper analyzes the characteristics of the uranium tailings and WSN.Through the research on key technologies such as location,routing protocol and data fusion,this paper designs a new WSN real-time monitoring system with high reliability,low energy consumption,long life and high positioning accuracy for uranium tailings.The main contributions of the paper include the following three aspects:(1)Research on energy balanced routing protocol based on multi-layer partition.Design of WSN routing protocol depends on application requirement.How to availably improve the efficiency of data transmission and optimize network energy consumption are research focus of WSN.Based on the large-scale WSN uranium tailings impoundment monitoring,an energy equalization clustering routing protocol is proposed.The protocol uses the base station as the interface between regional data and sink node.The virtual partition is set in the region with the node communication radius.It uses forward transfer mechanism.The optimized protocol calculates number of nodes and cluster head to improve the network structure.The simulation experiment verifies the performance of the protocol.It shows that this routing protocol can effectively extend the life cycle of nodes and network.(2)Research on data fusion algorithm based on prediction and event occurrence.The data fusion is an effective way to reduce the amount of network data transmission,lower energy consumption and reduce the bandwidth.Efficient data fusion method can optimize the performance of WSN.In this paper,an adaptive forecast weighting data fusion algorithm(AFDWF)which is data-centric,using the node and cluster head as the fusion nodes.The smooth prediction model is used to predict the later data,extract the eigenvalue,calculate the weight and credibility of data for fusion data with high efficiency.AFDWF algorithm is suitable for data fusion without burst(emergency)events.Simulation results show that AFDWF algorithm can effectively reduce the amount of data and maintain reliability in circumstance of low power consumption.(3)Research on high precision location technology.Positioning technology is an effective means for WSN to target tracking,which can effectively perceive the geographical location of the event contributing to safety early warning.Based on the RSSI ranging technique,a small number of larger RSSI values are used as the ranging parameters to construct the minimum communication circle.Then,the minimum communication circle is mirrored by the mirror principle to generate several overlapping node constraint fields,and optimize the node location.The simulation results show that the algorithm can obtain high precision positioning by adjusting the minimum communication circle under the small energy consumption.
