Phase change materials is a material that can change the state ofsubstance as the temperature changes,at the same time it can provide phase change heat.Compared with inorganic phase change materials,organic phase change materials,such as n-octadecane and butyl stearate,possesses the advantages of high latent heat of transformation,hardly reaction with chemical substances,little phase separation,acid and alkali resistance,and favorable price.Polyurethane is a class of polymers with-NHCOO-repeating structural units is a part of backbone chain,which was made from binary-NCO compounds or poly-NCO compounds with-OH compounds by foaming.The phase-change material is added to the polyurethane to prepare a foamed cotton with the function of temperature control and heat preservation,which can be applied to the fields of textile,clothes and automobile interior etc.In this paper,For preparingthe filled thermostat insulation polyurethane foam composite,the high latent heat value phase change material n-octadecane,Butyl stearate and phase-change microcapsule were filled into polyurethane foam respectively.The properties of different composite poem cotton such as surface of different composite foams,.chemical structure,thermal properties and mechanical properties were studied by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),thermogravimetric analysis(TG)and Morphology.The results were as follows: 1.In the phase change microcapsules / polyurethane foams are prepared by impregnation method,the latent heat value of loading level of 30% can reach 27.4J/g.However,the using stability of that polyurethane composite foaming cotton is poor,and the phase-change microcapsule can separate from matrix easily.2.The Polyurethane / butyl stearate temperature-regulating foaming cotton prepared by one-step full water foaming method andbutyl can cooperate well with polyurethane matrix.However,after the content of butyl stearate up to 30%,the mechanical properties of the composite foamed cotton can be affected significantly.In addition,after heat treatment repeatedly,butyl stearate is prone to aging and the latent heat value will reduce;3.Polyurethane / n-octadecane temperature foam prepared by one step full water foam.with the increase of n-octadecane loading,the phase transition heat of polyurethane / n-octadecane composite foam will increases.After concentration of n-octadecane up to 20%,the phase change heat of the polyurethane composite foamed cotton can reach to 43.0 J / g.After heat treatment repeatedly,the phase change heat of the polyurethane composite foamed cotton keep stable.
