Groundwater is one of the precious natural resources and plays a vital role in the survival of life on Earth.It is the most important and valuable renewable resource in the world.However,with the acceleration of industrialization and the dramatic increase in population,All kinds of sewage discharged without treatment resulted in serious pollution of groundwater,Once drinking contaminated water may cause jaundice,cholera and other diseases maybe lead to cancer,thus endanger human life and health.This topic choose Qianjin farm in Shenbei new district as typical research area,Conduct groundwater vulnerability assessment and health risk assessment,get the following conclusion:?1?Groundwater vulnerability is a reflection of sensitivity and resistance to pollute.Preliminary study on the geological and hydrogeological environment of Qianjin Farm in Shenbei new district,Based on GIS,use index method–DRASTIC to choose seven indexes which influence groundwater vulnerability of study area,Finally,groundwater vulnerability map of Qianjin farm in Shenbei new district groundwater.The results show that Xinkai river is located in higher risk area,in the middle of the farm Anti-fouling performance is medium,in the eastern farm Anti-fouling performance is better.The groundwater vulnerability map can give assistance for protection.It is valuable tool for site selection of activities and factories which tend to pollute groundwater.?2?Health risk assessment adopted method developed by United.It includes four steps namely hazard identification,toxicity assessment,exposure assessment and risk characterization.Groundwater health risks of adults and children were assessed in the study area,The results show that the highest carcinogenic risk index of groundwater adults is 2.29*10-3,and the highest carcinogenic risk index of children is 13.75*10-3,both exceeding the EPA standard of 10-6,which arsenic causes carcinogenic risk.The highest non-carcinogenic risk for adults was 1.52 and the highest non-carcinogenic risk for children was 8.84,both exceeding the non-carcinogenicity index dose of 1,with ammonia-free and ferric-manganese triggering non-carcinogenic risks.Health risk assessment associates groundwater pollution with human health.It provides a basis for risk management and pollution control.Groundwater vulnerability assessment and health risk assessment are bases for protection and management of Qianjin Farm in Shenbei new district.They have important significance in sustainable development of economy and environment.
