Graphene aerogels represent a new kind of carbonaceous nanomaterials with high porosity,low density and excellent electrical conductivity that can serve a wide application prospect in sensing,energy storage and catalyst support.To control preparation of graphene aerogels with desired properties and the establishment of strategies that can modulate the properties of graphene aerogels leading to high performance composite.Recently,the preparation of high performance composite graphene aerogels has become a hotspot in the research.In this paper,graphene aerogels with low density and excellent compressibility were successfully prepared after the investigation of the formation process of graphene aerogels.By a variety of chemical modification,a series of graphene aerogels composites with excellent mechanical properties and were obtained and it alsocan be used as supercapacitors.The interaction between the macromolecule polymer and the graphene gives excellent toughness to the graphene aerogels and make it achieve a compressible,recoverable and high elasticity.Therefore,the first topic of this paper is to use?-oxo-1-pyrenebutyric acid?OPBA?as molecular glue to link the graphene skeleton sheets and dip-coated polymer layers,where the graphene skeleton could be obtained by hydrothermal or chemical reduction.In contrast to the brittle pristine graphene aerogel,the resulting polymer-coated graphene aerogel demonstrates high elastic properties.The improved compressible properties are attributed to the uniform coating of polymer on the graphene sheet and the effective stress transfer between the graphene sheet and polymer layers,which are enabled by OPBA molecular glue.In addition,this type of strong integrated graphene-based aerogel could be used in practical applications,such as hydrophilic and oleophilic intelligence and compressible electrical sensor.Another subject of this paper is to use oxidize graphite,pyrrole?Py?,silver nitrate?AgNO3?as raw materials,and to obtain RGO-PPy-Ag composite graphene aerogels by one step synthesis hydrothermal reduction.We use TEM,XRD,XPS and FTIR etc respectively to characterize the reduction of the graphene oxide,the polymerization of pyrrole and the formation of Ag ions.The resulting composite graphene hydrogel not only has excellent compressibility,but also can be used as supercapacitorsits because of its excellent electrochemical properties.The RGO-PPy-Ag composite graphene aerogels exhibit outstanding absorption ability and electrochemical performances including ultrahigh specific capacitance of 447.5 F·g-1,and excellent cycling stability in the liquid electrolyte.When it is used as a compressible capacitor,it could shows good stability and circulation by the electrochemical test.
