The reform of basic education in the new era pays more attention to the cultivation of innovative teachers.Normal school students are the main force of future teachers.In order to strengthen the teaching quality of normal colleges,the Ministry of education introduced professional certification and implementation methods to normal colleges last year,which puts forward a series of new requirements,such as the learning resources,conditions and environment necessary for the growth of normal students from the national policy level.In recent years,quality classroom teaching and famous teachers' lessons for middle school chemistry teaching has obviously become an important window for innovative teachers to show their teaching abilities.Classroom observation,interaction between teachers and expert comment accompanied with it are the most common and frequent forms of activity.With the deepening of the research,the innovative paradigm of “classroom observation”,which is more professional and diverse,is developing gradually.It brings new challenge and offers technical support.“Classroom observation” plays a very important role in various teachers' teaching and research activities and the professional growth of normal students.It also helps normal students get the practical experience in teaching,not only necessary,but also with sense of times.Based on the importance and essentiality of the normal school students' ability to observe the class,the 2014 class normal school students were chosed,which were multidimensionally researched by the questionnaire,interview and case studies etc.This paper first analyzes the background and the problems existing in the classroom observation of normal students,clarifies the difference and connection between the “classroom observation of normal students” and the “professional classroom observation”,and expounds the ideas and methods of the study.Then,a questionnaire is compiled to find out the current situation and existing problems of the ability of normal school students.The main problems are as follow: First,they lack of preparation,ignore the importance of teaching materials and rarely accept guidance before the observation;the perspective is narrow and lack of deep thinking.Besides,they cannot identify and accumulate the generative resources and teachers' innovation,the reflective record is also irregular.Despite the basic knowledge of teaching theory,there is much room for improvement in classroom observation ability.According to the result of questionnaire survey,the improvement strategy is put forward from two aspects.First,we compiled a classroom observation scale for chemistry,breaking the mood of traditional classroom teaching.It enriches the visual angle of chemical normal students of classroom observation,expands the amount of information collection in the classroom observation record and effectively promotes chemical normal students' classroom observation transforme to the more professional mood.Several normal students are invited to use the new observation scale to collect information of middle school chemistry teaching.It is found that with the aid of the scale,it can effectively guide the chemical normal students to capture all kinds of behaviors of teachers and students,to obtain more valuable teaching inspiration and to produce more and more excellent teaching ideas.In addition,this paper also puts forward the improvement strategies from three aspects,such as the conditions of classroom observation and the guarantee of the practice resources,the strengthening of the teacher's guidance and the improvement of the evaluation methods after the end of the practice.For example,all normal colleges can establish their own “classroom observation resource base”,cooperate with each other and establish online courses to share resources,increase the frequency of guidance,strengthen cooperation between teachers,and establish special student organizations to organize and be responsible for coordination and communication with each practice middle school.
