In recent years,the composite materials used in sandwich structure has developed into one of the main materials,has been widely used in aerospace,automobiles,ships,housing construction,insulation and so on.The typical characteristics of sandwich structure are light and high-strength,high specific strength,high specific modulus,anti-seismic and heat-resisting,shock-absorbing and so on.The most common sandwich structure has three kinds: Honeycomb sandwich panel,corrugated sandwich panel and foam sandwich panel.In order to study the mechanical properties and failure modes of TPU foam sandwich plate,foam sandwich plate with excellent performance is needed.The preparation of sandwich panel includes three aspects,the preparation of foam core layer,the preparation of composite panels and the choice of the connection modes.This paper chooses polyurethane foam material as the main body,the effects of the different proportions of the two main materials used in polyurethane foaming experiments on the foaming products were studied,the samples were analyzed and characterized,and the optimum ratio of the next experiment was found,on the basis of which,The influence of the amount of PVC paste resin on the basic properties of foamed materials was studied,and the properties of foam materials were better when 10 PVC paste resins were added.At the same time,the influence of the amount of 3mm chopped glass fiber on the properties of foamed materials was studied.Finally,the enhanced foam material with excellent performance was prepared by the method of particle and fiber hybrid enhancement.Because the foaming method used in this experiment is molded foam,it needs to use closed mould,consult related literatures,and make a small mould with both ends open and easy demoulding,according to the actual experimental conditions and operation technology,and the cavity size of the mould is 100mmx100 mx.50mm.The design of the mold refers to the pressure of the polyurethane foam test,which determines the appropriate mold upper and lower cover and the thickness of the mold wall.The advantages of this mold are good sealing,size appropriate,suitable for laboratory research.The PP-GF composite Panel was prepared by pressing method,and the influence of different strain rate on the tensile properties of the composite panel was studied,and the conclusion was drawn that the composite material was the rate-dependent materials.It is concluded that the influence of different dosage of PVC on the foaming products under pressure is PP-GF,this paper improves the usual adhesive way to connect the core layer and the Panel,and adopts the method of adhesive and foaming integration to connect the Panel and the core layer.The quasi static three-point bending test of composite foam sandwich panel was carried out.The influence of different core thickness on the damage load and maximum displacement of foam sandwich plate is studied,and the results show that the core layer thickness is positively correlated with the damage load of foam sandwich plate,and the failure of the sandwich panel in the test process,There is no separation between the core layer and the panel,which proves the feasibility of the selected connection mode.
