Small-size tiles belong to ceramic external wall bricks,and are widely produced by the roller kiln without backing plate.Small size tiles are prone to flipping,stacking and other bad phenomena in the transmission line.These problems seriously restrict the automatic production level of small size tiles.In this paper,aims at the problem of flipping and stacking in the right-angle conveying process of small size tiles,with small size tile carding and blanking mechanism as the object of study,using virtual prototyping technology to finish the design of the small size ceramic tile carding and blanking mechanism.First,in order to solve the problem of flipping and stacking in the right-angle conveying process of small size tiles,through extensive investigation and research on all kinds of right-angle transfer structure which suitable for the ceramic tile production line,the structure form for the right angle transfer of small size tiles was put forward,and a virtual prototype parametric simulation model of the structure was established in ADAMS.Using this mode,the mechanism of flipping and stacking of small-size tiles in the right-angle conveying process was studied,and a criterion for the stable transportation of small-size ceramic tiles was proposed,and on this basis,the optimal transport parameters of the right-angle conveyor mechanism were obtained Then,based on the design of right-angle conveying mechanism that satisfies the stable conveying conditions for small-size tiles,the design of the small-sized tile carding structure was completed,and the kinematic simulation of the small size tile conveying process for the right-angle conveying mechanism including the carding structure was performed.Next,according to the virtual prototyping simulation model,the structure design of small size tile carding mechanism is completed in Pro/E software.In addition,in order to select the correct type of motor in the production line,the dynamic performance analysis of the designed conveyor frame was also carried out through finite element analysis software,and the natural frequency and various modes of the frame were obtained.Finally,according to the designed structure,the prototype and prototype test of the carding and blanking mechanism of the small-size tiles automatic production line was completed.The prototype test results were highly matched with the simulation results,and the small-size tiles had no overturn,stacking phenomenon in the conveying process,and were satisfied small size ceramic tile production process requirements.Thus a simple structure and smooth operation of small size tile right angle carding conveyor mechanism and blanking mechanism were obtained.It provides a stable and reliable conveying method for the automatic production of small size tiles,and has important engineering and practical significance for realizing automatic production of small-size tiles.
