The small molecular organogels,a kind of space network structures formed by non covalent bond action of self covalent interaction between small organic mo lecules,have become a widely concerned functional nanomaterial.Small mo lecular organogels are also of great significance for the research of new intelligent materials because of their regulation and control,and more and more attention has been paid to them in recent years.It has a wide range of applications in the fields of drug delivery,tiusse healing,biomimetic materials,biosensors and so on.More important,the introduction of metal ions can bring new properties such as catalysis,oxidation-reduction and photoelectricity to the gel,which greatly widens its application range.This paper uses glutamic acid as the basic amino acid,connects the upper side chain and then syntheses the gelatin factor with the dendrimer side chain with the 3,4-two hydroxybenzoic acid,and the properties and the responsiveness to different metal ions are also studied.By UV,infrared spectroscopy?IR?,scanning electron microscopy?SEM?and transmission electron microscope?TEM?,microstructure of the gel be studied,the mechanism of gel formation and stability factors be discussed.The Self-Assembly Study of target molecules with four EG chains showed that it not only showed good solubility,but also had good gel forming properties,it could dissolve in more solvents and form stable gel.The molecules containing four EG side chains not only enhance the solubility of the molecules,but also enhance the intermo lecular interactions,which greatly improve the gel properties,and self assemble the gel into more solvents and have thermo reversibility.The UV-vis and IR results suggested that the driving forces of the self-assembly of target molecules were mainly the hydrogen bond-interactions and?-?of the inter-molecules,the enhancement of?-?and decrease of hydrogen bonding in non-polar solvents.Through SEM and TEM,it is found that the micromorphology of self assembly in different solvents is different.When the metal Co2+is added,the micromorphology of the gel is transformed from the fibrous reticulation to the strip and has the ionic responsiveness.The microstructure formed by self-assembly is mainly banded and nanofibrous,and these micro morphology can be controlled by the addit ion of metal ions.
