Vanadium has special physical and chemical properties and that is why it has been widely used in most industries,such as aviation,aerospace and steel.Stone coal with a large amount of iron and vanadium is a very important mineral resources for the much vanadium in it.Stone coal is an extremely representative type of vanadium containing resource,which has a relatively concentrated distribution and a large amount of resources.Due to the particularity of the occurrence of vanadium in the mine,the process of vanadium extraction is complicated,for example,it cannot meet the requirement when traditional technology is used for extraction.So far,there have been few reports on this kind of research,which lead to the lack of theoretical and practical basis,and the existing technology which always has low recovery rate,high energy consumption,high acid consumption and high water consumption.Based on this,this paper studied the mineralogical properties of high-iron vanadium-containing stone in guangyuan,Sichuan.Sulfuric acid and ammonium sulfate was used as a mixture to calcinate stone coal,and the mechanism of roasting was revealed;The extracted liquid was treated by stepwise extraction method,and the components of vanadium,iron and aluminum were enriched by separating;White carbon black products were successfully prepared by using silica-rich filter residue.The specific research contents and conclusions are as follows:?1?The main minerals in the sample are white mica,quartz and needle iron,and a small amount of montmorillonite,illite and calcium zeolite.The chemical composition is mainly Si O2?39.4047.15%?,Al2O3?8.9220.27%?,Fe2O3?6.29-18.58%?,K2O?0.692.03%?,and a small amount of chemical components such as Ti O2,Ca O,Mn O,Mg O,V2O5?0.070.82%?.V is positively correlated with Al,Si and K elements in the sample.Vanadium was mainly found in white mica with trivalent vanadium ions?61%?and four-valent vanadium ions?39%?.?2?Choosing ammonium sulfate and sulfuric acid as a mixture of calcined stone coal,The best process conditions is:calcinating at 410?for 90 min.The ratio of the material of SO42-to the sum of Al2O3 and Fe2O3 was 3.5,the particle size was 150120,and the leaching rate of vanadium was 95.67%.In the process of roasting,the movement speed of H+,SO42-and NH4+ions in the system is accelerate with the increase of calcination temperature.The H+ions enter into the lattice and react with the-oh on the octahedron,causing the destruction of the octahedral structure and the release of vanadium.?3?Using the step sedimentation method to process the leaching solution of the stone coal,the product of the alumina component of the aluminium product can reach the standard GB 25592-2010.The iron composition precipitate is yellow sodium?potassium?,which has better crystallization;The product of vanadium component conforms to the national standard?gb3283-87?.?4?The main chemical constituents of vanadium filter were Si O2?78.45%?,SO3?9.45%?,Ca O?7.50%?,and a small amount of Fe2O3?1.98%?and Al2O3?0.90%?.The main minerals consist of quartz and gypsum;96 percent of particle size is less than 0.2mm,which is beneficial to the dissolution of sodium hydroxide solution.When the concentration of Na OH solution is 20%,liquid-solid ratio is 8:1,reaction temperature is 80?,the samples of white carbon black content is 92%,which can meet the industry standards?HG/T3061-2009?the index requirements.The stone coal in sichuan guangyuan as raw material,adopt"sulfuric acid+ammonium sulfate mixed additives roasting-fractional precipitation leaching liquid of valuable components-alkali solution and acid leaching slag"process,the successful preparation of ammonium aluminum sulfate,sodium yellow?potassium alum?iron,vanadium pentoxide,white carbon black high value-added products.This paper provides a new research idea and technology for the comprehensive utilization of the valuable components of guangyuan stone coal mine in Sichuan.
