Atmospheric pressure tool change system of Tunned Boring Machine(TBM)rubber seals in seawater medium environment,work for a long time,has long been extruding and shearing of metal with a copy to it,people often need to seal material has no wear,high reliability,long life and so on use performance requirements,but paid little attention to the rubber seal liquid medium in the process of friction swelling behavior.For this purpose,this paper combined with the actual working condition of the atmospheric pressure changing sealing system of the submarine shield machine,selected the formula of EPDM rubber,and determined the vulcanization parameters.In this paper,the formula of EPDM rubber sealing system suitable for shield machine is given by experiment of mechanical property experiment,reciprocating friction experiment and swelling behavior.The experimental study was carried out as follows:First of all,based on the performance requirements of the atmospheric pressure changing seal material and the characteristics of the EPDM rubber formula,the optimum formula of the EPDM rubber is determined on the basis of the reasonable curing temperature and time,which is based on the reasonable curing temperature and time,and prepared for the subsequent rubber performance research.Secondly,the DCP number(1.5phr-4.0phr)of different peroxide vulcanizing agents(1.5phr-4.0phr)is used as the research object.The relationship between the number of DCP parts and the mechanical properties and Tribological Properties of rubber is analyzed,and the optimum vulcanization system of EPDM suitable for the shield machine is found.At last,the study on the different white carbon black parts(40phr-55phr)EPDM rubber was studied.Through the study on the preparation process,mechanical properties,friction and wear and swelling experiments of different white carbon black parts,the swelling behavior and the coefficient of friction in the friction process are investigated and the surface morphology was observed by microscopic scanning.The best three component EPDM reinforcement system suitable for shield changer system is found out.According to the above research,the basic formula and the number of the basic formula of EPDM for the constant pressure change of the TBM are: EPDM 100phr;Zinc oxide 5phr;Stearic acid 1phr;White carbon black 50phr;Naphthene oil 15phr;Anti-aging agent 0.5 phr;0.5 phr of sulfur;DCP 1.5 phr.
