Ozone is an important air pollutant,which is harmful to people's health related to respiratory morbidity,cardiovascular morbidity and premature mortality.People spend almost 70-90%of their time indoors.Indoor exposure to ozone accounted 43-76%of total ozone exposure.Therefore,indoor ozone is important to people's health.Outdoor ambient ozone and indoor ozone emission can be main indoor ozone sources.Indoor ozone will be irreversibly consumed by indoor building materials,human bodies,and gas-phase compounds.In this study,the sources of indoor ozone emission were first investigated and the potential sources of ozone emission in residential areas were investigated through questionnaires within the scope of Nanjing City.According to literature,the dissemination mechanism,distribution characteristics,and influencing factors of indoor ozone emission sources were summarized.Secondly,according to the indoor building materials,in the scope of Nanjing City,the building materials commonly used in residential buildings were surveyed through questionnaires.Through the literature research,the ozone removal mechanism,removal characteristics,and influencing factors of ozone on indoor surfaces were summarized.Then,from December 16,2017 to April 20,2018,the indoor concentration distribution of ozone was measured in 19 different building cases within the scope of Nanjing City.The involved buildings include residential building,student dormitory,office,classroom and hospital room.Measured indoor and outdoor ozone concentration and air change rate of these buildings under the conditions of window closing and window opening,and found that the indoor and outdoor ozone concentration ratio had a significant correlation with room ventilation and ventilation.There is no significant correlation with the area-to-volume ratio of the room,which shows that for the cases in this paper,the ACH has a greater relationship with indoor and outdoor ozone.Finally,the single-zone model simulation and computational fluid dynamics simulation methods are used to study the indoor and outdoor ozone concentration distribution.By comparing with the measured results,we can see that the single-area model proposed in this paper can reflect the relationship between indoor and outdoor ozone concentration in the real environment.Similarly,the CFD simulation method can also better simulate the indoor and outdoor ozone concentration relationship and indoor ozone concentration distribution.As a result,it was found that the concentration of indoor ozone was high in the area near the window,while the ozone concentration was low and relatively uniform in most areas of the room.Since the room is not in an ideally homogeneous mixture,the results obtained using single-area simulations may be lower than those in the real environment.Through the research of this article,we aim to understand the source,removal and distribution of ozone in the indoor environment,and lay the foundation for further controlling indoor ozone concentration and reducing human exposure.The whole thesis contains about 45 000 words,58 pictures and charts.
