The pipeline oil and gas explosion is an accident calamity that causes great loss in oil and gas storage and transportation industry.Oil and gas explosion accidents restrict the production and development of oil and gas storage and transportation industry.At the same time,it also brings huge threat to life and property.The technology of inert gas explosion suppression has been an important subject for people to study the prevention and suppression of oil and gas explosion.The harm of oil and gas explosion accidents caused by failure is mainly reflected in the explosion pressure and flame.Therefore,in view of the characteristics of the oil and gas explosion pressure and flame,and the inert gas' s inhibitory effect on it,to further put forward feasible explosion-proof,explosion suppression measures have the vital importance.In order to study the propagation law of the oil and gas explosion characteristics of crude oil pipelines and the inhibitory effect of inert gas nitrogen on it,the experiment through the establishment of experimental platform,and the establishment of theoretical model and experimental model of pipeline corresponding to the simulation model of the two experiments to validate the research.The influence of oil and gas concentration and nitrogen addition on the characteristics of oil and gas explosion is studied experimentally,and then a long distance pipeline model is built.The Fluent software is used to simulate the oil and gas explosion and suppression.The research results show that the explosion limit of oil and gas in this experimental pipeline is 4.32% to 14.25%,and the concentration of oil and gas is an important factor affecting the characteristics of the pipeline explosion.Through the mutual verification between experiment and simulation,the maximum pressure of explosion,the rate of pressure rise and the speed of flame propagation increase first and then decrease with the increase of oil and gas concentration in the range of the limit range of oil and gas explosion.When the oil and gas concentration is 9.23%,the explosive reaction is the most violent.With the increase of nitrogen concentration in the pipeline,the explosion of oil and gas ismainly manifested in the decrease of the explosion limit range and the attenuation of the maximum explosion pressure,pressure rise rate and flame propagation speed.The explosion of oil and gas during the propagation of long-distance pipelines is first enhanced and then decayed.The maximum pressure of explosion and the maximum speed of flame propagation reach the maximum value in a certain location of pipeline.The explosion suppression effect is obvious when adding nitrogen.
