The magnetic properties of grain-oriented silicon steels depend on the degree of orientation and strength of the Goss texture.The abnormal growth of Goss grains during secondary recrystallization is mainly due to the fact that second-phase particles hinder the growth of normal grains by pinning the boundaries,whereas the effect of second-phase grains on grain boundaries varies with their location.Therefore,it is of great significance to figure out the relationship between the second-phase particles and the grain boundaries.In this work,Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope(FE-SEM)combined with Electron Backscattered Diffraction(EBSD)techniques were used to statistics and analyze the relationship between local density of the second-phase particles that larger than 40 nm in a range of 1 ?m near the grain boundary in Goss,Brass and their neighbor grains during the primary and second recrystallization of grain-oriented silicon steel and the corresponding boundaries.Studies show that: the best temperature in the first recrystallization is in the range of 850 to 900 ?,and the secondary recrystallization begins at the range of 1025 ? to 1050 ?.The main texture component are ? texture such as {111}<112> and {111}<110>,{411}<148>,{001}<120> and small amount of ? textures when annealing at 850~1000 ?.When the annealing temperature rises to 1050 ?,strong Goss texture has formed and there remains a very few ? texture,{411}<148> and {111}<112> textures.The exsiting frequency of {411}<148>,{111}<112> and {111}<110> are higher around Goss and brass after recrystallized annealing at 850 ? and 900 ?.By statisticsing the second-phase particles that larger than 40 nm in the range of 1 ?m on both sides of the Goss and brass grain boundaries after annealing at 850 ? and 900 ?,it was found that the difference of local densities of second-phase particles on the two sides of the Goss-{111}<110> grains' boundaries was the greatest;The grain boundary mobility of Goss-{411}<148> is larger than that of brass-{411}<148> and {411}<148> is beneficial to form Goss texture.The oriented grains of Brass-{112}<111>(copper)have a relatively stable grain boundary composition,which is not conducive to the abnormal growth of Goss grains.
