Because of the special stability and nonvolatile property of ionic liquids,ionic liquids are potential ideal components for lubricating oil and additives.Some ionic liquids even have good ecological compatibility,so the co-use with renewable resources such as vegetable oil has important application prospects in the field of green lubricants.In this paper,different series of oil soluble ionic liquids were prepared and characterized by infrared spectroscopy.The Molybdenum(Mo)-Vanadium(V)-Phosphorus(P)color-developing method was used to determine phosphorus element in ionic liquids to study the oil soluble performance.The effect of different structures and different process conditions on oil soluble property of ionic liquids were investigated.Nine kinds of ionic liquids were selected by different concentrations for the experiment of four-ball machine friction.The anti-wear properties and extreme pressure property were evaluated by wear spot diameter(WSD)and maximum non-seizure load(PB).The appropriate ionic liquid and the optimum reaction conditions were determined.The experimental results showed that the ionic liquid with excellent anti-wear performance was[P66614]DEHP and[C8mim]DEHP.Under best anti-wear condition,used SEM to observe morphology,and used EDS to analyze elements,verified the accuracy of the four-ball machine friction test result,and analyzed the reasons.Oxidation stabilities of oils with different ionic liquids were evaluated by the laboratory simulating oxidation methodology.By measuring the viscosity change(KVI)and infrared spectrum peak area changes(PAI)of each sample after the oxidation experiment,antioxidant performance of several kinds of additives were compared.The results show that[P66614]DEHP and[C8mim]DEHP also have good oxidation stability.
