The resources of antimony and bismuth are abundance in China,and the compounds containing antimony and bismuth have been widely applied photocatalysis and biomedicine.However,due to the inorganic salts of antimony and bismuth are easily hydrolyzed,it has been a challenging topic to build antimony and bismuth complexes that can stably exist in the air.Nine kinds of antimony(?)and bismuth(?)complexes were synthesized by solid-liquid phase reaction,self-assembled reaction in liquid phase and solvothermal method.The composition and structure of the complexes were characterized by elemental analyses,X-ray powder diffraction,infrared spectra and thermal analysis.The index calculation of X-ray powder diffraction data was carried out by using the computer program of least squares method.At the same time,the photocatalytic degradation activities of the Bi(?)complexes for organic dyes rhodamine B(RhB)and methylene blue(MB)were studied.(1)Four kinds of the complexes[Bi(Hbpta)]-2H2O,[Bi(Hbptc)]·H2O,[Bi(Hodpa)]·2H2O and[Bi(Hbtca)]·3H2O were synthesized with bismuth nitrate pentahydrate and 3,3',4,4'-benzophenonetetracarboxylic acid(H4bpta)or 3,3',4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid(H4bptc),4,4'-oxidi-phthalic acid(H4adpa)and 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid(H4btca)as main raw materials.The complex[Bi(H2btca)(H2O)2]· NO3 was synthesized by the solvothermal reaction of bismuth nitrate pentahydrate and 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid(H4btca).It turned out that the Bi(III)complexes exhibited a good photocatalytic degradation activities for RhB and MB solutions under ultraviolet lamp.(2)Two kinds of the complexes[Sb2(H2pmid)3]and[Bi(Hpmid)]·2H2O were synthesized by reaction of N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid(H4pmid)and antimony oxide or bismuth oxide.The results showed that the Bi(III)complex exhibited good catalytic performance for the degradation of RhB and MB dyes.(3)Two kinds of the complexes[Bi(Hpdc)3]·4H2O and[Bi2(pdc)3]·2.5H2O were synthesized by reaction of 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid and the bismuth compounds using different methods.It turned out that the Bi(?)complexes exhibited a good photocatalytic degradation activities for RhB and MB solutions under ultraviolet lamp.
