Hot rolled strip is a material which is widely used in industry.The control precision of the tension during the continuous hot rolling directly affects the thickness,width and other dimensions of the strip.A stable tension control is the basis of accurate control of strip size in hot continuous rolling process.In order to mitigate the influence of various disturbances on tension,most of the hot continuous rolling mill installed loopers between the front and back side on rolling mills.AGC(Automatic Gauge Control)system controls the longitudinal rolling system to adjust the rolling force to ensure the accuracy of the strip thickness at the exit,which is also the key to ensure the strip quality.However,the rapid action of AGC will affect the second flow rate of hot strip when working,so it is coupled with the looper system.Nowadays,there are many control methods for looper control,such as traditional PI control,H infinity control,adaptive control and so on,but AGC and looper always get controlled separately,without considering the AGC's influence on looper and tension.This paper refers to a lot of domestic and foreign literature,constructs the AGC-Looper integrated system,taking gauge?looper tense?and looper angle as control objection to do some innovative research on the integrated system.To verify the accuracy of the established model and the effectiveness of the control algorithm,applied the designed control method to the integrated model combining with the actual data.The simulation results show that the AGC-looper integrated system model established in this paper has high accuracy and the designed controller has good robustness and decoupling effect on the system.
