The thermal insulation of the ladle has an important influence on the refining and continuous casting process,the production process management and the life of ladle.The Lightweight has an important influence on the speed of the smelting rhythm and the expansion of the ladle.Super-insulation,Service longevity and lightweight become the theme of the development of contemporary ladle.The literatures for a single study of ladle insulation properties,ladle longevity and light weight are more,but as an integrated research,especially on mutual influence,there is less research.As far as the development of the steel industry and new technology are concerned,they cannot be promoted very well.In this paper,traditional ladle is taken as the research object.Based on the temperature measurement and finite element software of traditional ladle,the structure and material parameters of the ladle lining are analyzed and optimized to achieve the super insulation,lightweight and longevity of the ladle.(1)Based on computer simulation software and mathematical theory,the three main factors affecting the performance of ladle insulation,light weight and service longevity were analyzed.Through the analysis and comparison,the influence rules of the main factors on them are obtained.(2)Based on the traditional ladle for temperature field simulation and temperature measurement experiment of ladle shell,we can grasp its temperature level and distribution situation and verify the validity of the results of computer simulation,then through the simulation comparative analysis of physical parameters of lining materials,we can get the structure and physical parameters of the initial model of ladle lining.(3)In view of the new ladle lining structure,the multi field coupling analysis is carried out.The experimental results show that the shell temperature and temperature drop model of ladle are lower than the traditional ladle,indicating the insulation performance of ladle is improved.According to the stress nephogram,we can see that new stress distribution is more uniform,the average stress is lower compared with the traditional,from the side,it also shows that the ladle life has extended,the analysis of flow field also provides the basic theoretical analysis for ladle life.(4)First,fatigue analysis of the ladle shell is carried out.Then,the thickness of the ladle lining is predicted by using neural network,so that the loss of the ladle lining can be accurately understood,which can extend the service life of the ladle more reasonably than traditional experience estimation and operation adjustment.
