Certain profile control measures are often used during the process of flooding the oil fields.With the exploitation of oil field,the requirements of the performance of profile control agent are more stringent.Traditional profile control agent of super absorbent polymer(SAP)exist some shortcomings in such aspects as salt tolerance or high temperature resistant,so it is necessary to study the superabsorbent composite.Add some padding to the SAP to produce superabsorbent composite,which is operated easily and economically,has been a focus in the study of superabsorbent composite.Superabsorbent composite were synthesized by aqueous solution polymerization in this paper,using a REDOX initiator system to induce polymerization.The factors that influence the properties of SAP,such as the polymerization temperature,the ratio of oxidant and reducing agent and pH value,are studied.On the basis of study in factors,the best technical parameters is explored and then it's used to produce superabsorbent composite.The experimental results show that factors such as the polymerization temperature,the ratio of oxidant and reducing agent and pH value directly influence the properties of high water absorbing resin.After joining the different filler,the change of the performance of SAP is not the same:the effect of calcium carbonate on the properties of SAP is the largest,which not only improves the tensile properties and water absorption properties,but also improves the salt resistance and high temperature resistance of SAP;the effect of bentonite is second;the improvement of starch and grass fiber is not obvious.This paper also produced bentonite-calcium carbonate/PAM ternary superabsorbent composite and studied its performance.The results show that it has a better improvement on the properties of SAP.
