Petroleum is one of the most important energy sources in the current petroleum industry.During the extraction and refining processes,real-time and accurate measurement of the moisture content of crude oil in pipelines enables the staff to keep abreast of the dynamic changes in the oil wells and the current conditins of the formation pressure.Also,it have important instructive significance in the change of oilfield production plans or the development of suitable oilfield production plans.This paper had analyzed the different flow patterns of the three-phase mixed fluid of oil,gas and water,and the existing moisture content measurement methods and techniques at home and abroad.Combining with the status quo and production requirements in oilfield exploitation in China,the author aimed to invent a device suitable for oilfield on-site operation with a small size and high precision and suitable for the current oil wells that produce fluid with high moisture content.A method for measuring the moisture content of crude oil based on the principle of radio frequency was proposed.A related theoretical model was established.The design and simulation of the half-wave dipole antenna sensor was performed by means of the electromagnetic simulation software HFSS.The STM32F103 chip was selected as the master control chip of the hardware circuit and the AD8302 chip was selected to detect the amplitude and phase of the whole system.An experimental platform was established and a prototype device was made.A large number of indoor experiments were conducted on the measurement system.The results of the research and experiments showed that the radio-frequency device proposed in this paper for the measurement of the moisture content of crude oil had a reasonable structure and good performance.The whole system kept stable under long-term operation,and showed considerable application prospects in the petroleum industry on the aspect of moisture content measurement.
