The manufacture, design, and process technology of new technology carbon black(which is characterized as oil furnace process and environmental and energy-saving wet pelletization technology)are researched in this article, and meanwhile the effect of 12(surface area)and DBP(structure)value on filling and reinforcement property of carbon black in NR has also been studied in this article.Furthermore the effect of mixing usage of carbon black with different I2 and DBP value has also been investigated. The result showed that both N234 with high structure and small particle size and N660 with low structure and big particle size can lead to longer time of scorch and curing process. In addition, the higher DBP value can result in higher mooney viscosity and cross linking density. Therefore the vulcanized rubber filled with N234 carbon black presented higher stress at fixed elongation and better aging resistance. Finally the experiment of mixing use of N234 and N660 in NR was carried out to test the combination effect of carbon black mixture with different I2 and DBP value on carbon black dispersion condition and physical properties of rubber. The result showed that the mixing use of carbon black can improve their dispersion state and rubber properties which is regarded as synergy effect. In addition the carbon black production technology and process design are also introduced into the paper, especially the treatment to unqualified product made from carbon black grade switch process is studied in detail, and it paves the way to the application of carbon black. This can make it better to combine the production and application of carbon black and to deepen the knowledge and understanding of the production and application of carbon black.
