In recent years, emerging micropollutants were widely detected in the global water environment, which seriously endangered not only human health but also ecological balance that could pose enormous challenges for safe drinking water. The adsorption technology has obtained a special attention for its advantages of simple operation, low cost and high efficiency. However, the development of efficient and economical adsorbents is particularly critical for the application of adsorption technology in the actual wastewater treatment process. In this paper,a novel ?-CDP was prepared by nucleophilic substitution of ?-cyclodextrin with tetrafluoroterephthalonitrile(TF),followed by the physical and chemical characterization, including FT-IR,SEM and BET.The FT-IR of results confirmed not only successfully prepared P-CDP but also completely retained the cavity structure of ?-CD.BPA,PCMX,CBZ,APAP and SA were selected as typical organic micropollutants.Meanwhile, active carbon(AC)was chosen as the reference in the whole adsorption process. The removal effect of the five micropollutants under the various environmental systems were compared for the structural characteristics of the two adsorption materials. The result showed that only BPA,PCMX and CBZ can be better removed by P-CDP under single or mixed aqueous solution system.Compared with AC,the competitive adsorption behavior of each pollutant on P-CDP was only slightly inhibited. The removal effect of five micropollutants on two adsorbents was related to the value of logKow of contaminants. The larger the value of logKow,the higher the removal efficiency. In order to study deeply the selective adsorption mechanism of P-CDP to BPA,PCMX and CBZ.The effects of solution pH,ionic strength and adsorbent dosage on adsorption capacity were investigated.Adsorption kinetics tests showed that the adsorption of BPA,CBR and PCMX were well described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The maximum adsorption capacity of BPA,CBZ and PCMX in aqueous solution by ?-CDP was obtained by fitting the Langmuir isotherm model to 164,143 and 141 mg/g,respectively.The P-CDP adsorbent was regenerated five times by methanol soaking, results showed that the ?-CDP removal efficiency of BPA,PCMX,and CBZ was 98.1%,90.8%and 65.0%,respectively,which showed the value of practical application and provided a theoretical basis for the efficient removal of micropollutants in the aquatic environment.
