The SAGD technology can greatly improve the recovery efficiency of heavy oil reservoirs,but the technology need to control the well trajectory accurately.At present for some formations with high level of magnetic,the applications of magnetic inclinometer will cause large errors.The gyroscope can be used to solve the problem.However,the WdW analysis model is based on traditional mechanical gyro,so that it is not suitable for the fiber optic gyro.In this paper,the mechanical gyro is replaced with fiber optic gyro.According to the characteristics of the fiber optic gyroscope,the error analysis model of gyro inclinometer is completed.On this basis,the gyroscope error analysis software of horizontal well is developed.By comparing the result from commercial software landmark,the application of the software and also its veracity can be proved.Then the analysis report generated by gyroscope is tested which is used by engineer in Xinjiang Fengcheng oil field.The result shows that the report doesn't consider the effect of the characteristic of the fiber optic gyroscope.The conclusion which is given by the report should be fixed.
