Steam enters into the formation from the horizontal wellbore in both steam flooding and Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage(SAGD)with horizontal wells.The producing area is determined by the steam distribution along the horizontal well.Recent research mainly focus on the steam distribution along the horizontal well under the vacuum condition.This thesis studies on the effects of steam injection mode and the liquid loading on the steam distribution along the horizontal well using physical simulation method and reservoir engineering method.Firstly,the steam flooding similarity criterion and SAGD similarity criterion are deserved from thermal recovery mathematical model.A series of experiment apparatus have been built according to the similar criterion numbers.The apparatus are used to find out the law of the steam distribution with the horizontal and vertical plane.The experiments include the steam flooding and SAGD with horizontal wells.Experiments that study the steam distribution within the horizontal plane mainly focus on the effects of the formation heterogeneity.Other experiments that study on the steam distribution within the vertical plane mainly focus on the effects of the steam injection ways.Secondly,after the analysis of the field data and the experiment results,the steam absorption model that considering the liquid loading has been built.It answers the question of the nouniformity of the steam distribution along the horizontal well.Then,the steam front model also has been built,the linear and the no-linear analytical solutions are deserved from the model.Then,valid the model with the experiment results from previous published literatures.Finally,the three-dimensional steam distribution model coupling steam absorption model and the steam front model is deserved.A software is developed that realizes the visualization of the three-dimensional steam distribution along the horizontal well.This thesis is of great theoretical significance in investigation of steam distribution along the horizontal well and the development pattern of the steam front.
