Catalytic reforming, which uses naphtha as raw material,is an important method to produce high-octane gasoline components and aromatics.Catalytic reforming is an important process of the world refineries and petrochemical factories, which provides lots of cheap hydrogen for the hydrogenation unit. The main purpose of 1.2 million tons/year continuous reforming unit project, which belongs to one petrochemical company in Shandong Province,is to product national standard?gasoline.Based on this project, main studies and achievements in this paper are as follows:1.Using chemical process simulation software Aspen Plus to simulate the original flowsheet, which is the reforming fractionation section of 1.2 million tons/year continuous reforming unit project in one petrochemical company in Shandong Province. The economic comparison between original flowsheet and new flowsheet reveals that the new flowsheet can save 0.8958 million yuan on equipment investment,4.2373 million yuan/year in public consumption and produce higher value production about 39.8996 million yuan/year.The new flowsheet has certain guiding significance for the actual engineering construction.2.Using simulation results of columns on Aspen Plus and C up-Tower to complete equipment selection about the depentanizer column, the debutanizing column and the deprivation C6 column.Using HTRI Xchanger Suite 5.0 software to complete the heat exchanger selection.Using simulation results of pumps on Aspen Plus and knowledge of pumps to complete pump equipment seselection.Equipment selection provides a reliable equipment model for the actual engineering construction.
