Processing typical high TAN LiaoHe crude oils leads to severe corrosion of the refinery equipment,wherein the petroleum acids believed to be the urgent problem.In this thesis,based on the corrosivity tests and electrospray ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry(ESI FT-ICR MS),the corrosion performance and the composition of petroleum acids in the distillation unit were analyzed,and combination of mass spectrometry analysis and corrosion research technique was discussed.The main contents include:Corrosion performance of ten position in the distillation unit was investigated by online monitoring technology,and this technique was applied in the high temperature corrosion dynamic simulation testing system.The results were consistent with the actual industrial corrosion,indicating that the more vulnerable equipment of petroleum acids was the vacuum distillation tower,especially in VGO2 and VR.Corrosion intensification in atmospheric or vacuum distillate fraction both started at about 240 °C.Rate of corrosion kept positive correlation with temperature.Rate step appeared in VGO2 with temperature rising.A integrated molecular composition and distribution of petroleum acids combined with FT-ICR MS and gas chromatography was characterized for the LiaoHe crude oil and its distillate fractions.Combined with the corrosivity inspections and tests,temperature and composition and distribution of petroleum acids were indicated as the key factors of the unit corrosion during processing LiaoHe crude oils.VGO2 and VR performed the most severe corrosion because of high temperature and more content of petroleum acids.VGO2 was also influenced by vaporization and the structure of petroleum acids.This work evaluated corrosion performance of the distillation unit from the perspective of analyzing composition and structure of petroleum acids,providing evidences about combining the mass spectrometry analysis and corrosion research technique.
