Casing is one of the three essential pipe columns in the process of oil and natural gas production and development.The main function of casing is to envelop formation and reinforce well wall in petroleum industry.There are complex geological conditions and squirm stratum in Tarim Oilfield where most wells are deep and ultra-deep well.In order to prevent casing from collapse,the 265.13mm×22mm integral joint casings which possess high performance resisting to collapse have been used in Tarim oilfield.Although the capability of resisting to collapse of 265.13mm×22mm integral joint casing is satisfied in Tarim oil field,but it is found that the integral joint casings are off-center,its joint strength of thread joint is weaker than that of pipe body per investigation on casing use condition.Non API standard 265.13 mm BC casing was designed in which the tensile strength of connection is suited to that of pipe body in order to solve the problems above.The performance evaluation of the new non API standard BC 265.13 mm casing is of great significance for guiding the safe use and prevention of the casing accident in Tarim Oilfield.This thesis concludes that the non-API 265.13 mm buttress thread casing can meet Tarim Oilfield requirements based on analyzing and calculating the coordination between the structure size of threaded couplings and drill.The finite element analysis is carried out by ANSYS in accordance with actual condition of 265.13 mm casing used in Tarim oil field.It is shown from result that the mechanical performance of non API265.13 mm BC casing is satisfied to the use requirement in Tarim.By analyzing265.13 mm buttress thread connector casing anti-extrusion strength,anti-inner pressure strength and sealing property by theoretical calculation and strength check,this thesis finds out non-API standard buttress thread connector casing can meet the requirements of Tarim Oilfield.The complementary order technical conditions for 265.13 mm BC casing is given according to the results of the study.
