The technology and simulation research of batch distillation are outlined,the situation of production process of ethyl methyl carbonate/diethyl carbonate(EMC/DEC)and the separation process of dimethyl carbonate(DMC)-methanol azeotrope,which is generated in transesterification reaction to produce process EMC/DEC,has been described.The advantages of apply batch distillation in EMC/DEC production has been discussed,integrate with the characteristics of transesterification reaction process to produce EMC/DEC,the batch distillation and azeotropic distillation,extractive distillation,azeotropic distillation and entrainer based reactive distillation(EBRD)were combined,and process parameters for each batch process were analyzed and optimized.In the research of batch reactive distillation process to produce EMC/DEC,by coupling reaction and distillation in one device,not only improve the conversion rate and reaction speed of reversible reaction,but also saves equipment costs and energy consumption.By the analysis of batch reactive distillation process to produce different product target,it gives the optimum process parameters.In the batch distillation separation of a three-component mixture DMC-EMC-DEC study,the batch distillation operation process of three-component separation was designed,with the analysis and optimization of each stage,finally got the EMC and DEC product with purity greater than 99.99wt%.In the study of batch azeotropic distillation process to separate DMC-methanol azeotrope,the feasibility and merits of n-pentane,n-hexane,iso-octane and n-heptane as entrainer were analyzed use residue curve map(RCM),n-heptane was selected eventually,and batch azeotropic distillation processes under constant reflux ratio and optimized reflux ratio during the operation were analyzed and optimized.In the study of batch extractive distillation process to separate DMC-methanol azeotrope,the RCM and equivolatility curves were used to select extraction solvent from phenol,aniline and ethylene glycol,and the final choice was aniline.Finally,the batch extractive distillation process was analyzed and optimized.As the generate of DMC-methanol azeotrope during batch reactive distillation process to produce EMC/DEC greatly reduce the conversion rate of the reactants,therefore the entrainer based batch reactive distillation process,combined batch reactive distillation with azeotropic distillation,was designed and optimized to avoid the generation of DMC-methanol azeotrope,eventually improve the conversion rate of the reactants.
