Catalytic reforming is an important technological process,which products aromatic and high octane number gasoline.Reforming generated oil contain olefins,leading to unqualified products after this process.So it is necessary to removing olefins effectively.This paper mainly discusses two kinds of process methods to remove olefins.Comparing the advantages and disadvantages,this paper chooses the hydrogenation before extraction process,and selects extraction distillation process as subsequent process.The process is divided into two parts,the process of reforming generated oil selective hydrogenation and benzene extraction.The design is based on the tailings comprehensive utilization equipment of 3 million tons/year heavy aromatics hydrogenation project,which locate at Shandong Province.(1)Use the process simulation software named Aspen Plus to simulate the whole process.Use the Aspen Energy Analyzer software to design and optimization the heat exchange network based the previous results.Save energy consumption is 13.49%(on average)and total cost is 11.36%.(2)Through to simulation for the equipment of process flow detailed,to determine the process parameters preliminary.Then calculate the hydraulic properties with cup-tower software based on matter properties in Aspen Plus software.Calculate and select the heat exchanger and air cooler with HTRI software.Finally,calculate and select other equipments according to “Refining Equipment Process Design” written by petroleum and chemical planning design institute of petroleum chemical industry.(3)Compare the new and old process,the new technological process is simple.People can get qualified products by hydrogenation,extraction and separated operation.The new process gets rid of the operating of clay process;reduces workers' labor greatly;improves the operating cycle from half year under old process to three or five years.This process avoids the clay pollution,products high quality products,workers are easier to operate.As country become more and more strict to environmental protection,selective hydrogenation process is more and more obvious to replace clay process.Material balance according to the whole process simulation has a certain guiding role for process design in the future.
