The Performance Analysis And Structural Design Of Ocean 36 Inches Mechanical Clamp

The repair of marine oil and gas pipelines are becoming more and more important,with the exploitation and transportation of offshore oil and gas.As a connecting equipment of repair tools and marine oil and gas pipelines,mechanical clamp occupies an important position in the repair operations.This paper takes the marine oil and natural gas pipelines in diameter of 36 inches for a case study,mainly completes the following four aspects: this paper designs various parts of mechanical clamp according to the working principle and flow of mechanical clamp;this paper designs and checks some important parts of mechanical clamp according to correlation theory;this paper designs different corrosion protection measures for different parts of mechanical clamp,and ensure meeting the request of life by the study of marine corrosion;by analyzing the working principle of clamping mechanism,this paper calculates the relationship between the contact pressure of slip and axial thrust of slip ring,analyzes the stress of slip and its teeth,slip ring and its teeth by finite element;the paper obtains the relationship between the sealing pressure and the pressure of the circular rubber ring through the theoretical calculation of sealing mechanism,and gets optimization design of circular rubber ring by finite element.This paper designs a kind of mechanical clamp that can be used in repairing marine oil and gas pipelines in diameter of 36 inches.The mechanical clamp solves the problem of the connection between repair tools and oil and gas pipelines,and promotes the development of repair tools of marine oil and gas pipelines in our country.
