Horizontal well technology has its unique advantages in the field of oil and gas exploration.It has more advantage to cross vertical fracture,so the efficiency of oil production can be improved,and the cost also has been reduced.Conventional acoustic logg interpretation methods are based on the vertical well,which is not applicable to the slowness data of horizontal well sonic logging.Before interpreting the horizontal well data,we need to correct the results of the slowness.Sound field of acoustic logging were comprehensive used of staggered-grid finite difference method and PML absorbing boundary.It can simulate the model of vertical wells,horizontal wells and complex high angle deviated wells accurately.In this paper,we adopt the two-dimensional numerical simulation program to simulate the sound field of different conditions of horizontal wells and high angle deviated wells.We extracted the slowness and research the following aspects:(1)Acoustic logging response characteristics of isotropic and anisotropic formation under the condition of different angels and different layer thickness under;(2)Acoustic logging response characteristics of horizontal wells with high velocity layer or cutting layer;(3)Acoustic logging response characteristics of instrument eccentricity;(4)Correction method of sonic log slowness under the condition of different formation and different angles deviated well.
