The heavy oil has an increasing development proportion according to the enormous potential of its exploration.For the heavy oil reservoir which has active edge water,on one hand,the edge water invasion could supply formation energy,on the other hand,it also causes water breakthrough early for the well located in the edge,influences the exploitation efficiency.The pressure of the edge of reservoir is high because of the effects of edge water,thus,the mining pressure drop is large,and the edge water floods to the center gradually,the range of water invasion increases,this contradiction is prevalent in most development of heavy oil reservoir with edge water.Based on the characteristics of mid-deep heavy oil reservoir with edge water,this article implements numerical simulation and reservoir engineering method and analyzes the elements,for example,reservoir width and thickness,size of the edge water and crude oil viscosity,which affect the water cut rising with the combination of single factor and multiple factors method.In addition,it summarizes the effects of various factors and filtrates the main factor which controls the water cut rising.According to the vertical well and horizontal well productivity formulas which consider the start-up pressure gradient,using equivalent flow resistance method to establish the mixed well pattern of vertical-horizontal wells productivity formula.And then it utilizes numerical simulation to validate the optimal well spacing pattern to control water in the banded hydrocarbon reservoir with edge water,moreover,optimizes the injection-production parameters.Furthermore,on the basis of the optimum well pattern and the characteristics of deep and thick of oil reservoir,the thermal and cold recovery methods are researched respectively,adopting the calculation of wellbore heat loss verifies the feasibility of thermal recovery with steam injection,results in heat loss chart in different depths.Next,the parameters that are optimization of steam stimulation are optimized,then,it analyzes and compares the adaptability of the nitrogen foam flooding,viscosity reducing agent and the gelled water drive.And it emphasizes on simulating the parameters of gelled water drive which are more economic and effective,in order to achieve the best effect of water control and oil increase.In order to control water cut rising in mid-deep heavy oil reservoir with eage water,the results reveal that we should base on the principle of reducing the viscosity of crude oil,placing the well in the formation which is far away from edge water and stored with thick oil and adopting reasonable fluid withdrawal rate,apply the vertical wells-horizontal wells irregular well pattern,and discharge liquid by eage wells,integrate steam stimulation and gelled water drive.According to the simulation result which is validated in Dongxin oilfield 8-24 block,it shows that the optimized results have significate effect of water control and oil increase compared with the original ones,which is instructive.
