Crude is the most important resource in the world today.It is the basis for the development of the national economy.However,crude cannot be used directly and needs to be further processed into different products.The crude distillation process determines the quality of petroleum products,while simulating the crude distillation process can optimize operating conditions,production processes,find production bottlenecks,and improve production efficiency.Therefore,the simulation of crude distillation process is particularly important in the production of crude.Currently,the world's mainstream chemical simulation software such as Aspen Plus,HYSYS,Pro/II,etc.can be well simulated for the crude distillation process.However,at present,there is only software that simulates a device or a certain type of device in the country,and there is no software that can better simulate all the crude distillation processes.At the same time,different simulation software has different advantage application field.In order to facilitate the integration of different simulation software technologies,the CAPE-OPEN interface standard is gradually proposed,and the interface of the program is standardized.In the crude distillation process,the tower is the most important equipment.Therefore,following the CAPE-OPEN standard,developing the crude distillation tower unit module is essential to simulate the crude distillation process.This article is based on CAPE-OPEN standard,adopts COM technology,uses Visual C++ language to develop the crude distillation tower unit module under Windows 7 operating system.Firstly,the function of the unit module is clearly defined,and the theoretical basis for the development of its core algorithm is established by studying the mathematical model and algorithm of the crude distillation tower.Secondly,the GUI graphical user interface of the crude distillation tower unit module is developed according to the function of the unit module to facilitate the user to set parameters to specify different simulation types.Finally,based on the mathematical model and solution algorithm studied,four algorithms were developed: SR method,new relaxation SR method,new relaxation dew point method,Inside-Out method,and applied to different types of crude distillation process simulation calculations.Different algorithms are independently developed to facilitate the maintenance of the algorithm.After the unit module is developed,its validity must be verified.By generating the DLL file,it can be loaded into the simulation software supporting the CAPE-OPEN standard,such as Aspen Plus,and the loading and invoking of the crude distillation tower unit module are successfully realized.To ensure the accuracy of the developed unit module,using CVD and RFCC two sets of practical industrial rectification devices for example verification.The simulation was performed using the developed crude distillation tower and other unit modules under the self-developed simulator.The results indicate that the deviation of the nature of the product and the actual value is small when using the developed crude distillation tower unit module to calculate.They are in accordance with the industrial index,and basically the same as those of the Aspen Plus simulation value.The calculationis accuracyand the actual crude distillation process can be accurately simulated.Nevertheless the developed unit modules still have insufficient procedural simulations due to the complexity of the crude distillation process,it is conducive to facilitate subsequent development and maintenance that the CAPE-OPEN standard,COM technology is adopted and the unit module structure is clear during the development.
