The steam compressor is the key equipment of the petrochemical industry.As an important part of the petrochemical industry safety,its security will determine the safety of the entire plant.Aiming at the problem of safety assessment for steam compressor,this paper proposed the safety evaluation method based on equivalence relation and c-means fuzzy clustering.Firstly,we analyze the common fault type of the steam turbine and centrifugal compressor,determine the measuring point position,such as vibration,axis displacement,temperature and pressure measuring points,and establish the index system of multi-source information fusion by status of measuring points and index selection principle.Selecting the vibration of the two directions of turbine drive end and non-driving end,the drive end bearing temperature of steam turbine and the exit and entrance flow of the compressor builds index selection principle.Secondly,we propose the principle of safety assessment.We select the safety state evaluation method based on equivalence relation evaluation and fuzzy C mean clustering algorithm through the comparison of equipment index analysis and various kinds of clustering algorithm,to determine the safety levels of equipment,such as excellent,medium and bad..Finally,we evaluate safety grade of steam pressure unit effectively by this method and it is proved by field case based on information fusion.
