Variable Fuzzy Sets Theory In The Application Of The Safety Assessment Of Major Hazards

With the development of society and economy, the demand of all kinds of dangerous chemicals is increasing. Dangerous chemicals are flammable and explosive, poisonous and harmful characteristics, once leak happened, will not only cause casualties, also will have serious property damage and environmental pollution. In order to effectively prevent the happening of the accident and reduce the loss caused by accidents, major hazards to the chemical enterprise safety assessment has become the public and the government today issues of common concern.This paper first expounds the necessity of research on the safety assessment of major hazards, the safety assessment of major hazards at home and abroad were summarized and the research status quo of variable fuzzy sets theory. Comparative analysis of the current domestic commonly used several kinds of safety assessment methods of major hazard installation shortcomings and the insufficiency, proposed a new evaluation method based on variable fuzzy sets theory of major hazards variable fuzzy safety evaluation method. Combined with chemical industry risk characteristics, using the quantitative and qualitative analysis,theoretical analysis and application research on the method of combining layers of building safety evaluation index system of major hazard installation. On the basis of variable fuzzy sets theory, combined with the feature of chemical enterprises, chemical enterprises major hazards is established fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of variable. Finally to xi ’an petrochemical co., LTD., as a case, using inflammable, explosive, toxic safety evaluation method with variable fuzzy evaluation method respectively to hazards are analyzed in contrast research, proved that the variable fuzzy set theory applications in safety assessment of major hazard installation is scientific and feasible.By studying the theory of variable fuzzy sets in chemical enterprise safety evaluation, the application of major hazard installation for safety assessment of major hazard installation, a new method to effectively control and management of major hazards has certain significance.
