Coordination compounds have attracted people's attention since their inception, and their synthesis, structure, and properties are still at the forefront of contemporary inorganic functional materials. The research of coordination compounds involves many disciplines such as inorganic chemistry, material chemistry, organic chemistry, crystallography, and topology. How to select various organic ligands is one of the key factors for the synthesis of metal coordination compounds with novel structures.Sulfonate ligands have not attracted people's attention because it is generally believed that the coordination ability of sulfonates is low.Later,it was found that by adding many different organic ligands, the affinity of the metal ion for the sulfonate can be adjusted, thereby improving the coordination ability of the sulfonate.Shiff base ligands have been widely favored by researchers because of the unusual flexibility of the Shiff base ligands. Thus,a wide variety of metal coordination compounds can be obtained, which is of great significance for the study of coordination chemistry.Shiff alkali metal complexes are not only diverse, but because of their unique structure, they have great potential in light, electricity, magnetism, biomedicine, and catalysis.Carboxylic acid ligands are very typical O-containing ligands and the carboxylic acids are very active in chemistry. Thus, carboxylates readily react with other organic compounds to form a novel ligand with a novel structure, which plays a crucial role in the subsequent synthesis of metal complexes. In this paper,we synthesize some metal complexes of sulfonic acid, carboxylic acid and Shiff base ligands, and conduct structural characterization and performance studies. Our research mainly includes the following parts:1.Cu?II?complex?C2?was synthesized using 2-carboxybenzaldehyde,ptoluenesulfonyl hydrazide and copper acetate;using 4-amino-3-methylbenzen esulfonate, magnesium chloride and NaOH in ethanol The complex[Mg?H2O?6]·L2was synthesized in solution and its structure characterization and properties were studied.2.A novel eight-coordinated binuclear Ca?II?coordination compound synthesized using 3-pyridinecarboxylic acid hydrazide and sodium 4-formylbenzene-1,3-disulfonate;using 4-imidazole-formaldehyde pyridopyridine-2-formylhydrazine and Eu?NO3?3·6H2O synthesized coordination compounds[Eu?L3?2?H2O?4]·?NO3?·?H2O?4;using pyridine-2-carbaldehyde and phenylacetylhydrazine and CaCl2 The complex[BaL2Cl2]was synthesized by reaction, and its structure characterization and performance were studied.3.A modified octahedral structure Mn?II?coordination compound using1,4-phenylene diacetic acid,1,10-phenanthroline and manganese acetate;utilizing1,3-bisbenzyl-2-imidazolidine-4,5-dicarboxylicacid,NaOH,DMF and Cd?NO3?2·4H2O synthesized the coordination compound of{[Cd3?L4?2?DMF?2?H2O?]·H2O}n,and further Structure characterization and catalytic performance were explored.A novel ligand,C14H13N3O4S,was synthesized using 4-toluenesulfonyl hydrazide and 2-nitrobenzaldehyde in the presence of ethanol as the solvent;2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde and 2-pyrazoyl hydrazide were used in ethanol.Another novel ligand,C11H9N5O,was synthesized under solvent conditions;we synthesized a4-?2-methylphenyl?-3-thiosemicarbazide and 2-carboxybenzaldehyde using ethanol as solvent.Novel ligand C16H15N3O2S,and a simple structural characterization of these ligands.
